A recent study of 1,836 subjects over a 10 year
period found that drinking fruit and vegetable juices reduced the
chance of Alzheimer’s disease by 76%. The study was published
in the journal of American Medicine and showed those who drank juices
more than 3 times a week had a significant reduction in the risk of
developing Alzheimer’s. The shocking results seemed to indicate
that the polyphenols in the juices had a much greater effect than
antioxidant vitamins. Further studies will be made to find out which
juices have the maximum benefits.
